Abstract
A method for monitoring the health status of a collective is described. In the method, medical image data sets (BD nk) of a plurality of members of the collective are acquired. Members (P n) of the collective are automatically classified on the basis of the acquired medical image datasets (BD nk) according to a medically relevant criterion. Then an automated determination of a statistical distribution (SV R) of the classified members (P n) of the collective takes place. Finally, there is an automated comparison of a statistical reference distribution with the determined statistical distribution (SV R). A monitoring device (30) is also described.
